Fast rising Philly prospect mike Jones defends his NABA and WBO NABO titles on July 9th against Irving Garcia.

Jones (21-0, 17 early) is one of the top young fighters in the state and has been named on numerous prospect to watch lists throughout his early career. He is also poised to break into the big time in the near future, so this might be one of your last chances to see him fight locally before he moves on to world title level.

Garcia (17-4-2, 8 early) might not be a name many are familiar with. He is the former holder of the WBC Latino welterweight title, and fought to a draw against Yuriy Nuzhnenko for the vacant interim WBA title. Nuzhnenko takes on Matthew Hatton next month for the European welterweight title. His last outing was a loss to Luis Carlos Abregu, who takes on Timothy Bradley next month. So Garcia has been in with a decent level of competition, and should prove to be a good test for Jones.
